Bio
Iris aka @ITXIRISSS is a 21-year-old DJ with a passion for music that began at a young age. Growing up in a small town outside Ottawa, Iris focused mostly on drums and percussion, playing in several bands and even participating in the Eastern Ontario Honour Band in 2019. While drums were her main focus, Iris is also a self-taught pianist and guitarist. In 2024, she discovered the art of DJing, quickly falling in love with it. Within just six months, Iris became a prominent female DJ in the Ottawa club scene, winning a DJ battle and hosting her own events. Her passion for music drives her to continuously learn, now slowly expanding into music production.
Iris is also in her final year at Carleton University, working towards a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her strong passion for mental health has led her to work with organizations like United Way and Shepherds of Good Hope, as well as founding Girlz Entertainment, an entertainment business focused on creating a safe and empowering space for women in the city.
